Our History & Milestones

1987

Command Hospital Air Force Bengaluru established as a 200-bed facility to serve IAF personnel in Southern India.

1995

Expanded to 350 beds with addition of specialized departments including cardiology and neurology.

2003

Commissioned as tertiary care referral center for all three defense services in Southern Command.

2010

NABH accreditation achieved, recognizing quality standards in patient care and hospital management.

2015

Major infrastructure upgrade completed with new critical care blocks and advanced diagnostic center.

2020

Designated as COVID-19 treatment center for defense personnel, handling over 2,500 cases.

2023

Current capacity of 500+ beds with 75 specialized departments and 850+ medical staff.
